Why Live Events?

Why Live Events?

Live events spark the sharing of ideas and culture. The best moments happen when we are together. We look forward to these moments and create memories that last forever. A group of people gathered around a commonality can move mountains and shift culture.

Forums for exploration have existed since ancient Rome and beyond. It was the sharing of ideas that enabled the further development of methods and technologies. Many of the things we take for granted were commissioned, presented, and executed in gatherings staged around a common goal or purpose. This is why we get together. Individual growth thrives within a community. Systems have been created and redefined not necessarily by one person, but by a collective of like-minded people.

Curating these meetings is an art. The environment must be inviting and stimulating to the topics at hand. Too much noise, and the attendees will tune out. Communication and the art of speech, dictation, and presentation are parallel. Lighting, sound, and immersion are all important factors as well as we strive for connection. We are all hit with so many messages every day, so our gatherings must almost be a blank canvas to clear the clutter. The best events are focused. Decisions must be made about details as well as the macro level.

Purpose is the root. Why are we getting together? Let us be specific. Share this purpose with the curating team. Everyone involved is going to bring a slightly different definition and flavor to purpose and that a good thing. Lets encourage that so that many angles get examined. We are different and its our differences that complete a holistic approach.

So go forth. Create a movement. Polish an existing one. The more often we dream and inspire together, the better the world is for it. I believe we have just touched the surface. The depths of human existence remain to be debated, explored, and presented. Live.
